Sump Pumps

Many problems encounter in sump pumps is being frozen. Many of us depends on sump pumps. Specially on our basement. Freezing water in the sump pumps discharge line or around the pumps foundation. resulting in possible harm not only to the sump pump, but also to are home.

An important step in preventing any kinda water damage to your place is to make a ground slope around your house so that water will be directed away from the base.

Keep the gravity pull the water. Keep it flowing during freezing temperature. Make the exit point lower from the pump

Use freezing resistant hose to the end of discharge pipe, and direct the water away or 15 to 20 feet from the foundation.

You can use larger diameter of hose to avoid a frozen sump pumps.

Frozen discharge hose makes the sump pumps work harder. It cause the motor to over heat.
